Tangible Benefits from Harnessing Technology

We apply the latest technology to create innovative solutions that bring quantifiable benefits to our customers in terms of improved productivity, cost savings and better resource utilization.

All our solutions are built to be SCOR-compliant, the de facto supply chain standard worldwide. In addition, we employ wide-ranging decision support tools and software such as business process analysis, route planning, load optimisation and process flow optimization to design the most optimum supply chains for our customers.

With our Global Supply Chain Modeling software, we are able to help our customers design the most optimum operations through sensitivity analysis of transport cost, transit times, capacities, duties and taxes to improve cycle times and achieve cost savings.

We also embrace the latest technology such as Radio-Frequency Identification Devices (RFID) to improve productivity and enhance inventory accuracy as well as other web-enabled tools to provide online inventory status and visibility.

Configuring the Supply Chain that meet individual needs

Through the years of implementing and executing supply chain initiatives, we realized that every customer’s need is unique. Hence, we believe in configuring the supply chain to meet our customer requirements. Through our suite of highly adaptable applications, we managed to provide our customers a one-stop, customized solution that meets their needs. Following are some operations that we had implemented on behalf of our customers.

Plan

We successfully deployed a collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment system between a chain of retail outlets and their distribution center to reduce inventory.

A demand forecasting system capable of automatically choosing the best fit forecasting algorithm among the proven twenty over methods deployed for various industries was installed at fifty over retail outlets to collect historical sales transactions. These sales histories are translated into demand signals and together with the inventory balance maintained by the system in each retail outlet, an inventory replenishment plan is formulate. The inventory replenishment plan is feed directly into the warehouse management system deployed at the distribution center for fulfillments.

As the systems are tightly integrated, there is no time loss in the entire planning cycle. With a responsive supply chain, our customer is able to maintain a minimum inventory level at their retail outlets which translates into lower inventory carrying cost. The supply chain flexibility is also enhanced due to the postponement of inventory fulfillment until it is needed.

Source

We help our customer establish new sources of supplies by leveraging on our market presence in competitive manufacturing bases such as China, India, Thailand and Vietnam.

Through our eProcurment system, we managed the entire procurement cycle by:

* Raising a Purchase Requisite through the internet
* Routing through a configurable approval process
* Selecting a supplier through the Request For Quotation process
* Cutting a Purchase Order
* Monitoring the delivery by sending advance shipment notice to the warehouse management system deployed at the buyer consolidation hub
* Maintaining delivery reliability through service level tracking

Our professionally managed procurement process takes over the mundane work of the procurement department and leave only the vital decision making process in-house. Through this, we improve supply chain reliability and productivity for our customer by ensuring a closely knitted integration between the procurement and logistics functions.

Make

We support the Just-In-Time manufacturing by establishing a VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) warehouse that ensured the continuous supply of key raw materials.

The production schedule of a manufacturing plant is feed into our warehouse management system for generating picking instructions at the VMI warehouse. Raw materials are delivered to the production line within the specific delivery time window allocated. The VMI warehouse ensures the continuous supply of key raw materials by maintaining a safety stock level of the supplier’s inventory. Inventory replenishment signals based on Economical Order Quantity are trigger to key suppliers when the inventory balance fall below the configurable re-ordering point.

The VMI warehouse replaced the raw material management function in a manufacturing plant and eliminated the inventory of key raw materials through supplier collaborations.

Deliver

Leveraging our presence in emerging markets like Vietnam and Myanmar, we balance the investment risk of our client by providing the systems and infrastructures to facilitate trades.

Our eOrder system manage the entire order-to-bill cycle on behalf of our clients by:

* Taking orders through the internet
* Providing access to clients for Price Management
* Enforcing the credit control measures defined by the clients through online checking of order backlog and outstanding account receivables
* Allocating inventory to orders based on configurable issuing strategy
* Monitoring the shipments by sending orders information to the warehouse management system deployed at the distribution center
* Generating invoices for billing and collection
* Monitoring the delivery status through mobile technology

Our order management capability reduced the risk of trading in emerging markets by lowering the barrier of entry through a total outsourcing model without compromising service level.

Returns

With a well establish transportation network, we provide reverse logistics services to a retailer for collecting return items from consumers.

Our call centre staff first registers the collection request in the issue resolution system and made a booking in the transport planning system. Together with the daily delivery bookings received, the system allocates the delivery tasks to a central pool of transportation resources divided by delivery zones. When performing the physical deliveries and collections, our drivers use the mobile phone network to provide real time update of the delivery and collection status. The information accuracy is further enhanced by a build-in barcode decoder that is capable of recognizing a barcode printed on the delivery notes through a normal mobile camera phone.

As Proof-of-Deliveries information is collected on a real time and online manner, the cash-to-cash cycle time for our customer is reduced for deliveries where billing is trigger only after receiving the Proof-of-Delivery. The savings is magnified where proof-of-delivery information takes days to consolidate in a larger country.

With the standardization of our core Supply Chain applications like Warehouse Management System and Freight Management System, we are able to configure the supply chain that meets individual customer needs at faster turn around time and a lower implementation cost.
